I thought this might help someone who's thinking about setting up a full node. I use a server with a 1 Gb symmetrical connection. The number of nodes is not limited.

Let's start with the node count. As you can see it varies roughly between 100 and 200 nodes.

The download speed usage is very low.

And here from which countries the nodes are connecting. I get most connections from China and USA.:

The processor load can be neglected. What really needed performance was the initial download of the blockchain. But I don't think that's as resource consuming anymore.
