LBC used to have an option for users to delete their accounts, which they have now removed.
I'm not sure exactly when they removed the option, but after being scammed the other day, and receiving ZERO help from LBC support staff (they decided in favor of the scammer), I decided that I was done with LBC and wanted to delete my account.
I figured I'd send a support ticket and request that my account and personal info be deleted since there's no longer an option to do so within the User Settings.
However, I was surprised by their response which said they no longer had an option to delete accounts, and there was nothing that could be done. I replied back and reminded them that they are headquartered in Finland, and therefore are bound by EU Data Privacy laws which clearly state:
You have the right to ask for the deletion, blocking or erasing of the data.
***You can read more about EU's Data Protection laws here: http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/individuals/rights/index_en.htm
Each of their replies thereafter have been very scripted and completely ignored my response regarding their commitment to abide by EU guidelines, and remove my account and info.
These are the past 2 responses I received from LBC support:
"I'm sorry but we cannot delete your account."
