Litecoin activated SegWit in the end of April, roughly 3 months ago.

If the things people on r/btc are claiming are true, why hasn't Litecoin been attacked/exploited as they say Bitcoin could be?

Hasn't Litecoin "proven", to a certain extent, that SegWit can be implemented and nothing terrible will happen?
