Are other coins rising because of their ability to make near instant transactions? Probably. This seems to be the trend today, following the rise of some coins recently and where the investment money is going.

So, I pose a question to the bitcoin community, and especially those in favor of a hard-fork or blocksize cap raise.

Will a block increase bring near instant transactions? Unfortunately not. Will 10 minute confirmation times be the future? Probably not.

Vote segwit. I'm not against a blocksize increase, but I'm prioritizing confirmation time reduction over raising the amount of transactions able to fit in a traditional block. Thanks for reading.
