I have introduced a couple of people to bitcoin and helped them buy some, but they find it overwhelming or often look at it as a means to make quick money.

I try to give them the bigger picture talking about ownership, monetory system and then go into details about mining, confirmations etc. By the time I help them to buy bitcoin, it becomes too much to grasp which i faced too when I started learning about Bitcoin.

I just wanted to understand how you guys introduce others to bitcoin. What do you think is the best way to introduce someone, what examples or analogies do you use?
