So I'm in a pickle, we all know Coinbase's support is garbage, but i'm at a loss.
Yesterday at 1:42 AM Eastern Time, Coinbase initiated an ACH of $3,044.70. There's no record of this on Coinbase, which:
- Makes me think that this was a Coinbase error.
- I don't believe my Coinbase account was compromised since there is absolutely no record of the transaction on my account.
I have 2FA setup with Authy and Authenticator, and I never received a notification for any login code. I don't have any API keys for my account, i've made sure i've locked it down.
Should I bother trying to contact Coinbase support, or call my Bank and report it as fraud? I have already called Chase and they said I am in no way liable for fraudulent charges and they could proceed with a reversal. Luckily the charge is still in the "Pending" State.
Has anyone been in this situation and have any recommendations?
You have a tremendous amount of money you've made off your fees, especially in the recent spike. Hire an outsourced call center like any other financial institution. This is ridiculous. I'm supposed to contact you on what, twitter???
